A smart clock for a shelf that becomes a timer, a weather display or a small window into the day. The work spans the physical form, circular interactions and the software that connects them.

Decisions

Navigation lives at the rim

A circular screen has little room for permanent navigation. System actions start at the rim: pull from the top for apps, from the bottom for settings, from the left to go back. The center stays with the app.

Gesture zones on the round display: rim wedges for the app grid, back and quick settings, with the inner disc owned by the app

Share behaviour between faces

Color roles, geometry, rendering and the meaning of motion are shared. Each face defines what moves, what the accent means and what stays quiet.

Show when information stops being current

If the GitHub feed fails, the clock keeps the last graph, dims it and labels when it was cached. With no saved data it says it is not connected.
