An agent session waiting for approval is easy to miss while you work in another window. Super AI Pets puts a small creature above the desktop that idles and follows your cursor, and is planned to show what each session needs, starting with Claude Code.

Decisions

Use the pet format that already exists

The app reads the Codex v2 pet contract as it is, a 1536 by 2288 atlas with 73 frames, so pets made for Codex work unchanged instead of needing a new format.

Jailbot full-body animation studies: idle, hover right, hover left, wave, jump, failed, waiting, working and review, four frames each

Three states per character

The first concepts were drawn in the three states the overlay will show for a session, idle, working and needs you.
